Phase One
Our initial meetings are centered entirely around you. We’re here to understand your goals, answer your questions, and show you how Sugar Creek can help bring your vision to life.
Are you searching for the right homesite—or do you already have one in mind? Have you toured one of our homes, or would you like to schedule a visit? Do you have a plan or concept and want clarity around costs and feasibility? Are you navigating the complexities of building in one of the many villages in our area? Or perhaps you’re looking to assemble the right architectural and design team for your project?
Wherever you are in the process, we’re ready to meet you there with insight, experience, and a collaborative approach to educate you about the process.
Phase Two
If we're at Phase Two, we've already answered some of the most critical questions—location, budget goals, and a general concept or vision for your home. Now, it's time for creative energy. This is where we sit down with an architect to begin translating ideas into design. Together, we'll refine your floor plan with the final budget always in focus, working through revisions until every detail aligns. During this phase, we'll also collaborate with you and the interior design team to create a mood board that helps shape the initial architectural direction and support early budget estimating.
Phase three
If we're at Phase Three, we have at minimum an initial conceptual sketch from the architect and a mood board from the interior design team. At this stage, we gather as much information as possible to begin forecasting your budget with accuracy. The more we can develop and define your concept, the more precise our final cost estimate will be—and the better we can guide you through the design decisions that have the greatest impact on overall cost. Ultimately, the cost of your home is your decision, and we provide real-time feedback on every design revision to ensure you're making informed choices.
Phase four
If we're at Phase Four, we have a finalized architectural plan, initial design selections, and a completed cost estimate. Before construction begins, you'll be introduced to our project management platform, giving you online access to your job files, schedule, and updates in real time.
We believe the construction phase should be the most enjoyable part of the process—where all the hard work begins to take shape. If we're doing our job correctly, your time will be spent approving final selections with the design team and visiting the site to see progress, review mock-ups, and make any last refinements. Our construction team will coordinate closely with your designers, keep you informed of key milestones, and ensure the build stays on track while answering your questions along the way
Phase five
It's time for the LIVE phase of the process. If we're at Phase Five, your home is complete. We've supported you and your design team through move-in, coordinated with movers if needed, and followed behind with touch-ups and final adjustments. Now, it's time to enjoy your new home—with the peace of mind that we continue to stand behind our work long after completion.
